…is the name of our group chat for my homestay family in South Africa and it’s not wrong. Specifics to come later, but let me explain why in pictures:
We went to a cricket game today – a pretty slow sport, more about patience and mental toughness than action I would say, but half-time was fun. Our homestay dad, Muneeb, is an awesome photographer.
There are lots of kids on our street and we spent a couple hours yesterday playing soccer/football outside in 80 degree weather – sweaty but worth it.
We have a sister and brother that are 5 and 6, but also a 21 year old homestay brother who we call Jacque that’s here studying english from Angola. He is hilarious and an amazing dancer.
